While the fish kill at Goldie Lane is a heartbreaking tragedy that has sadly cost the lives of approximately 100,000 fish, mainly roach, we would like to make clear that the pollution was localised to the Goldie Cut area alone and has not affected the wider River Nene or Ferry Meadows

PLEASE VISIT THE COMMENTS FOR A MAP OF THE AFFECTED LOCATION

All venues remain open to fishing and there are no signs of dead, dying or distressed fish anywhere other than this location

The lakes at Ferry Meadows have suffered no fish loss at all, mainstream media outlets unfortunately referring to ‘Ferry Meadows’ when this should more accurately have been referred to as ‘Nene Park’

We apologise for any confusion in this regard and would appreciate if this post were shared for awareness

Many thanks for your cooperation at this time and we will continue to keep you updated
