We welcome this decision and are grateful for the support of the Angling Trust in aiding us in moving the situation forward

Collaboration with the key stakeholders on this issue is critical. We are proud to work alongside RSPCA (England & Wales), RSPCA East Winch Wildlife Centre and British Divers Marine Life Rescue to reach a suitable long term solution for all of the animals involved and the ecology of the river

It is vital that the health and safety, welfare and sustainability of both the seals and the fish is the most important thing

Although there is a lot of work to do, this represents a great step forward for angling as we demonstrate how invested we are in the environment and prove how much anglers give back to the rivers we love

Any seal sightings should be reported via this link. This information is confidential unless you choose to be updated and any seals at risk will be reported by ourselves with urgency to the relevant authorities. PLEASE SHARE
