Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Policy
Angling is a sport for everyone.
1. Our position
Fishing doesn't care who you are, and neither do we. P&DAA is open to everyone regardless of age, disability, sex, gender identity, race, religion or belief, sexual orientation, pregnancy or maternity, marriage or civil partnership, or background, covering every characteristic protected by the Equality Act 2010, and we want our banks to look like the city we serve.
2. What we commit to
- Membership, matches, coaching and volunteering are open to all, and we'll make reasonable adjustments where we can so people can take part. Tell us what you need at participation@fishinginpeterborough.co.uk.
- Abuse, harassment, discrimination or bullying on our waters or in club spaces, online included, is a disciplinary matter under the rules.
- Junior participation is free, because cost shouldn't decide who gets to fish.
3. Reporting
If you experience or witness discriminatory behaviour connected to the club, report it to the Chairman at chairman@fishinginpeterborough.co.uk or through the incident form. Reports are handled under the club's complaints and disciplinary policy.
